Clearly this person regards a shopping trip as a life event. They've got the groceries taken care of, some of it incredibly specific (Duerr's Marmalade, fine cut) some extraneous business (chlorine tabs, haircut, clean pool) and financial instructions too ( cash £170, cash till say £250). These are the sort of people who only go to the supermarket once a week and use the giant carts. They also love butter, as they've listed it on both sides of the list.
